I LOVE my Job!

Right now I am a part time nanny and I love it. I love photography obviously but when I get to capture my little babies it just makes my day. I have talked about my little babies before so by now everyone should know who I am talking about when I say "my babies". They are the most precious children and I get the pleasure of watching them from time to time. They are all getting so big. Maggie is turning into a young woman, Sam has gone from little boy to big brother and young man overnight, Tommy is turning into a big boy now and so is Jake...the only one I can really still call a baby is Libby who is now 10 1/2 months old. They bring so much joy into my life so I just like to share that when I can. Here are quite a few pictures, some really old (from last September) and some recent, that show just how much fun I get to have nannying for this wonderful family. Most of them are of us riding "bites and stoodors" (bikes and scooters) as Jake says. We love to play outside as you can tell, and it is a BIG treat when we all eat outside together.
Just one more thing...I have to share this because it blessed my life today. I was putting Jake's clothes on him and helping him with his shoes today when all of the sudden he says to me, "I think God can hear us." I said, "What?", just to make him say it one more time and to make sure I was translating correctly haha ;) He said it again plain as day, "I think God can hear us." To which I said, "Well I think God can hear us too Jakey (that's what I call him)." He went on to say that he thought God could hear us in the sky and that God could hear us when we play cars too. I got to spend a little time talking with him about God and what Jesus did for us on the cross and how much our Father in heaven loves us and ya know what?!?! HE TOTALLY GETS IT!!! He is 3 years old and totally gets who and what Jesus and God are to us. Mind blowing isn't it! I hope one day that I can raise my child the way Alli and Brian have raised "my babies" to know and understand who Jesus and God are. I was beyond blessed and will cherish that moment in the closet with Jakey until the day I die. I also just have to sit and thank God for how awesome He is and for speaking to me through a little child! Wow...anyway...enjoy some of these snapshots of what one of our play days looks like.
