What a cute family! :) I so enjoyed today with the Dodsons. Joshua is so precious and sweet along with being as cute as a button. He gave me hugs, played with some bubbles and mom's decorative balls, his toys in his room, and some leaves outside. He was up and ready for pictures the minute I walked in the door. He didn't need time to warm up to the idea of having his picture taken...it seemed like this was normal for him. Mom and Dad were great and let him just play and have fun. We got some GREAT family shots that will look wonderful on a Christmas card! :) The weather was great and made for a beautiful fall morning for some awesome pictures of Joshua with Mom and Dad. Thanks for allowing me to capture some moments of your life today! Love you guys :)

Can you say Fall??
So that scent is in the air. You know...the one of fire places burning their first fires for the cold new season, the crispness of the clear air, the smell of pumpkin pies baking in the oven, and just that smell of cooler air. Man I LOVE fall and all the new changes it brings about. Getting out those winter clothes...putting the summer ones away. For me, drinking hot beverages like hot coco and coffee instead of frappuccinos and snowcones. The leaves changing colors. We have the best colors of fall around our house right now. We have the bright yellows, browns, reds, and greens hanging on as long as they can. I absolutely love it. I got a new toy when I went to a photoshop conference not too long ago and I couldn't wait to try it out. What better subject than the changing leaves right? :) My new toy is called a lensbaby. It is a lens that allows you to basically throw your focal point wherever you want. It looks kinda funny but oh my goodness it is the coolest thing. It came with about 30ish attachments/lenses so I'm gonna be playing and trying all these cool gadgets for a long while. Don't worry, I will let you in on all of the coolness of the photos I'll be snagging. In the mean time, enjoy these of our beautiful house. Oh...FYI if you are wanting to know what kind of ivy that is...it's called Virginia Creeper and it grows like wild fire. It is the prettiest deep green in the spring/summer and then turns this beautiful bright shade of red in the fall right before it all falls off. One more little tid bit of info...I LOVE to step on crunchy leaves in the fall haha. So much so that I will go out of my way just to step on one. I even joined a facebook group called "I will go out of my way to step on that crunchy looking leaf." Happy Fall Everyone!! :)

Idriese Part 2
Idriese wanted a few shots in his football gear so we went out yesterday for a little bit to get some. He had it all...from the gloves to the cleats. We went to a couple different places and once again he was a great subject to photograph. It was my first time to photograph a football player in all the gear and I didn't know how exactly how it would go...luckily Idriese's dad came along and helped me out with some great ideas for different shots. Overall it was a great time and the product was some creative, fun shots.
